6 Common Habits of Happy People

Simple practices to keep your vibrations HIGH!

Ever noticed how some people just seem to float through life, fairly unscathed and upbeat? They have challenges, sure, but somehow, it’s always a very small part of their story and, for the most part, they have oodles of blessings and an abundance of lucky strokes of luck?

This isn’t co-incidence. There’s a science to it. A few key rules for living. And here, I break it down for you…

No. 1: They under-emphasize the bad times.

Shit’s gonna happen. Deal don’t dwell. Give your negative feelings the stage – but DON’T give them the spotlight. Remember, you are more than your feelings.

No. 2: They surround themselves with uplifting people.

Your flock matters. If you become the sum average of the 5 people you spend the most time with, make sure your main circle includes people who would rather talk about their goals than gossip.

No. 3: They do things that light their fire.

Are you feeling like life is one long list of obligations and responsibilities? Time to prioritise passion. We can’t get away from #adulting, but we can dilute it with oodles of cultivated joy and excitement by intentionally focusing on the things that light us up inside. No-one can do that for you. You have to decide it. You have to intentionally craft it.

No. 4: They know their physical self matters.

Looking after your body (inside and out) is a spiritual act. It’s an acknowledgment and a reverence to the vehicle that gives your soul movement and the potential for a beautiful human experience.

No. 5: They have faith.

Whatever Higher Power blows your hair back, believing in something that’s bigger than you makes room for true surrender and radical trust that, no matter what’s happening, it’s all unfolding as it should. There is comfort in believing that you are divinely loved, supported and that there’s a Higher Intelligence orchestrating things on our behalf. Oh, the relief!

No. 6: They understand that abundance is a mindset.

It’s about possibility; not profit. They’re deeply focused on their blessings, not their lack. They understand that money is a limited energy that comes from the Universe – not just a job, or a person. How much money a person has is a direct result of how much you either encourage or block its flow into your life (by your thoughts, your frequency and your aligned/misaligned energy).

Being happy is an inside job – one that needs a little probing; a little contemplation.

Build on the good habits, little by little.

Breaking down the bad habits, little by little.

Believing more boldly in your place in the world, little by little.

It’s the habits that unlock the happy. Because remember this: Happiness is a by-product feeling to an in-practice doing.

It's the habits that unlock the happy.

Shine on, beautiful ones.

xo,

Nicole
