Biscoff Oats

High in protein, yumminess and feel-goodness!

One thing I cannot-will-not do is eat food that tastes yuck. I’m very stubborn and childish about this. I don’t care how good it is for me, if it’s lower than a 6 on the enjoyment scale of 10, I’m not putting that spoon in my mouth.

If this is you too, you’re going to love this easy, tasty bowl of comfort, aka The Biscoff Oats.

Ingredients

  • 50g Oats (I use Jungle Oats)
  • 2 grinds of salt
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 powder sweeteners (I use Canderel)
  • 65g Plain Low Fat Yoghurt
  • 20g Vanilla Protein Powder (I use Biogen iso-whey)
  • 15g Biscoff Spread

Method

In a non-stick pot, measure out your oats, and add the salt, sweeteners and cinnamon. Cover with water and cook til soft and to the consistency you like it. (I like mine not too thick or stodgy, but not too runny either).

While that’s cooking, measure up your yoghurt and protein powder in a bowl or small jug, and mix.

Throw the vanilla yoghurt mix into the cooked oats and warm through for a minute.

Pour into a bowl, add your teaspoon of Biscoff Spread, which will melt into the heat of the oats within about 30 seconds.

Enjoy!
